How to Master the Challenges of Aging in Place?
Maintaining your lifestyle in a busy city like Las Vegas shouldn’t feel like a struggle against your own home. We bring a personalized clinical environment directly to your residence. This clinic-to-door approach changes your living space into a high-performance recovery zone, ensuring your rehabilitation is directly relevant to your daily life.
Our specialists go above general exercises, perform real-time gait analysis on your specific flooring and optimize your movement through your actual kitchen and bathroom layouts. This medical support reduces fall risks and helps you enjoy life with total confidence.
What Conditions Do We Treat?
We categorize our treatments into specific clinical ways to ensure every patient in Las Vegas receives targeted medical attention. For example,
- Orthopedic Excellence: We provide intensive manual therapy and strengthening for seniors recovering from total hip, knee, or ankle replacements.
- Neurological Adaptation: We focus on neuroplasticity and retraining the brain-to-muscle connection for those managing Parkinson’s, MS, or post-stroke symptoms.
- The Fall Prevention Initiative: We identify vestibular and proprioceptive weaknesses before they lead to an injury using advanced balance-tracking techniques.
- Cardiopulmonary Support: We help seniors with COPD or heart failure safely build their endurance by monitoring vital signs every movement.
- Chronic Pain Mitigation: We utilize stretching and strengthening techniques to manage long-term spinal stenosis, sciatica, and degenerative disc disease.
- Post-Hospital Stabilization: Our team does immediate safety audits and implements medically monitored strengthening programs to prevent post-discharge setbacks.

Our Team
Meet Our Expert Doctors
Dr. Joseph Klarberg
CEO
Dr. Joseph Klarberg, PT, DPT is the Founder, Owner, and CEO of Outbound Therapy Services. With nearly five years of experience as a licensed physical therapist, Dr. Klarberg has worked across a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, school-based therapy, and home health. Through this diverse background, he developed a strong understanding of how physical therapy can be most effective when it is personalized, practical, and centered around the patient’s real-life needs. He is passionate about helping adults and seniors regain strength, mobility, and confidence without the stress or limitations of traditional clinic-based care. Dr. Klarberg founded Outbound Therapy Services after recognizing a significant gap in care within the Las Vegas community. Many patients found outpatient therapy difficult or unrealistic due to transportation, scheduling, or physical limitations, while traditional home health services are restricted by strict qualification criteria and limited insurance-approved visits. Outbound Therapy Services was created to bridge that gap by providing high-quality, one-on-one physical therapy directly in the home. This model allows for longer, more focused visits, personalized treatment plans, and care that is tailored to each patient’s environment—helping clients move better, stay independent, and receive the level of attention they truly deserve.
Andrea Barrett
Lead PT
My name is Andrea Barrett, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For the past 16 years, I have had the privilege of treating patients throughout the Las Vegas and Henderson communities. The majority of my career has been dedicated to providing physical therapy in the home setting, where I deliver individualized, one-on-one care tailored to each patient’s needs. My clinical approach focuses on improving functional mobility, promoting independence, and supporting patients in achieving meaningful, real-world goals.
Ken Gonzalez
PTA
My name is Ken Gonzalez, and I’ve spent nearly 10 years in the physical therapy field — starting as a tech and growing through roles in administration, marketing, outpatient ortho, and now home health as a physical therapist assistant. I chose home health because I love providing care that fits naturally into real life and helps people stay safe and independent where they’re most comfortable.
Outside of work, I’m a big believer in staying active. You’ll often find me playing pickleball, working out, or spending meaningful time with my family. These moments keep me balanced and remind me why I’m passionate about physical therapy — helping people move, play, and live life fully.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I know if I qualify for in-home physical therapy?
You are an ideal candidate if you find it difficult or exhausting to leave your home for medical appointments. You do not need a homebound status to utilize Medicare Part B for our services.
2. Can you help with balance even if I haven't fallen yet?
Yes, proactive balance training is the best way to maintain your independence. We assess your fall risk using clinical tests, then build the lower-body strength and reaction time you need to stay upright and confident.
3. Do I need a doctor’s referral to begin therapy in Las Vegas?
In Nevada, you can often start physical therapy through direct access. However, to check if Medicare B or a private insurance covers the care, our team coordinates with your primary care physician to sign off on your personalized plan.
4. How does the Las Vegas summer heat affect my home therapy?
Staying indoors prevents the risk of heat exhaustion and dehydration associated with traveling to an outpatient clinic. Our therapists use a climate-controlled environment, which improves cardiovascular performance and promises safer exertion levels during your recovery sessions.
5. Can I receive in-home therapy if I live in a senior living or assisted living facility?
Yes, our mobile clinical team frequently visits residents in assisted living, independent living, and memory care communities throughout the Las Vegas Valley. You get the same high-level, one-on-one attention as patients at home. Our team of experts also works with facility staff for full integration of sessions with your daily routine.
5. Will my therapist be the same person for every visit?
Yes, we pair you with the same licensed therapist for the duration of your treatment plan. This helps your clinician to deeply understand your physical progress, build a trusting professional relationship, and adjust your exercises based on your specific improvements and challenges.
